2020 Project Is Released

Welcome to 2020! For my friends and colleagues that have been wondering how I spent my last few months, I'm proud to show off my latest and greatest print masterpiece, my company's 2020 B2B sales catalog.  After nearly 1,300 pages, it is complete and out in the world. Congrats to all the members of the catalog team who worked hard on this creation!

Happy Birthday Nicktoons!

(c) PipPepPop My Nicktoons T-shirt.
A few weeks ago, we officially celebrated the birthday of Nicktoons. These cartoons were a 90's staple on a growing network dedicated solely to kids. As a child of the 90's, I offer a true thank you to the network and all the quirky cartoons they brought kids. There is a great Entertainment Weekly oral history about the early years of the network! I enjoyed working as an intern with the Network, growing the company's kids and family digital offerings. If you are looking for Nick gear, now is the time to get it. Stores like Kohls and Spencer's Gifts have lots of Nick gear.

Take this MTV.com Quiz to guess which musicians guest starred on Nick or Disney Channel shows.
Please Note: this is a hard quiz.

This shirt includes cartoons from:

  • Rugrats
  • Angry Beavers
  • Ahh! Real Monsters
  • Ren and Stimpy
  • Rocko's Modern Life,
  • Hey Arnold!
  • The Wild Thornberrys (sic).

Grammar Fails in Everyday Life

I admit, we're not prefect creatures. We are human. But still, I can't help but notice errors in grammar when I'm off-duty. Check out my blog post about grammar fails in the newspaper, store signs, and other places.

Wow! Hello Kitty is a Little Lady

Last week, there was an interview with a museum curator working on a Hello Kitty(R) project.  I have the pleasure of working with this property in my professional endeavors, and I was surprised to hear that Hello Kitty(R) is not a cat, she is a little girl. Per the Sanrio company, HK has her own pet cat! I always assumed that she was a cat that dressed with style, but she wears cat ear headbands like pop icon Taylor Swift. Ms. Kitty also lived in London, where she attends elementary school. My mind is truly blown by this bombshell.
